3/24/23 – After reading the Influencer, I understand the need for looking at all 6 areas of influence for leveraging change in vital behaviors for my Innovation Plan (Patterson, 2013. This is even more evident after seeing in the video that the children needed at least 4 of the 6 to change behavior. Also, looking at the strategies from the 10x Your Influence Research Report has been very helpful in pinpointing what needs to be apart of my Influencer Strategy (Greeney, 2013). When focusing on peer influence in area #3, I see that not only do I need to utilize the influence of certain leaders, but I also want to focus on a core group of influencers as a part of my pilot group of teachers with EB students who will be peer influencers as the innovation gains momentum. These need to be teachers of growth mindset who also regularly invest their time in collaboration with others.
