8/30/23 – In developing my Action Research Plan, I think Implementing and Collecting the data may be the most difficult to carry out since I will be utilizing other teachers’ classrooms and their students (Mertler, 2022). With this situation, I need to have buy-in from the participants – especially the teachers, as well as, the administrators – since it is not my personal classroom or students. The teachers have to be willing to be vulnerable to allow for the Implementation step in their learning environment. Hopefully, they will be because they also desire to be a better educator through the process of having Personal Reflection over the data (Mertler, 2022).
Thankfully, I see where my other courses such as my initial Literature Review have already helped me with the Gathering Information step along with the detail that was needed in mapping out my 4DX lag and lead measures earlier which will help me in the Planning step of my Action Research, too (Mertler, 2022; McChesney, et. al., 2021)
