Wings and a Wand

7/4/24 – Family time is precious especially lately with expected hand surgery but unexpected hospital visits since my last blog entry. I have found joy holding a parent’s hand in their bed even while one of mine is healing because several of my friends have already lost their parents. Now, I sit in my lawn chair at our home away from home in Utopia (yes, there is one in Texas) watching the town fire works above the trees with my husband and son. Another sweet memory for the books, now that Nate has graduated with his Associates Degree and is starting a career giving him less time for long vacations.
