I am engaged in various learning communities that contribute to my work and my ongoing career in education. I am constantly learning from them and with them – even outside of the usual school year. I collaborate on a regular basis with each group and keep in touch with past learning communities through Facebook and Instagram along with a bit of Twitter.
I would not be the educator that I am and will continue to be without them. Educators cannot operate in a silo. We MUST engage with others in the work.

My Learning Communities:
Instructional Leadership Team at Ross Elementary – I share my learning with my fellow instructional coaches on my campus along with my principal and assistant principal.
EB Instructional Coaches in Clear Creek ISD – As a group, we do book studies while we are in the work of leading instructional strategies and creating learning environments for our Emmergent Bilingual population.
Lamar University ADL Collaboration Group – I meet regularly with my core group in my courses sharing thoughts, ideas, and feedforward on our assignments, etc.
Personalized Learning Wave 1 group for Clear Creek ISD – My campus is in Year 2 of this pilot with Ed Elements. However, we had two years with Raise Your Hand Texas in Blended Learning to start our journey at Ross Elementary.
